We would like the children to make a firm, regular commitment to school dinners or packed lunch.
Children may only change their meal option half termly.
All pupils from Reception to Year 2 are entitled to Universal Free School Meals. However, the school would ask you to indicate your child’s choice as some children may prefer to bring a packed lunch.
If your child is in Year 3 to 6 and would like to have a school dinner, the cost is £2.30 per day (£11.50 per week). This must be sent in each Monday clearly marked with the child’s name and class in a sealed envelope. There is a box available in the reception area where envelopes can be dropped off to save you queuing up. If you prefer you may pay on a half termly basis. You can also pay by standing order -please fill out the downloadable form.
We encourage children to bring in healthy packed lunches. This can consist of sandwiches, pasta or a roll, along with healthy snack bars, fruit and a yoghurt. Children may also bring a suitable drink.
As part of our healthy eating practice, the school does not allow the following items as part of a child’s packed lunch:
* fizzy drink
* sports drinks
* chocolate or sweets
* large packets of biscuits
