School Uniform
Our school uniform reflects the values of pride, respect and belonging. It helps to create a positive learning environment where all children feel part ocommunity.
The rules for the wearing of school uniform are agreed by the Governing Body, and we ask for parents’ and carers’ support in ensuring children attend school dressed appropriately and ready to learn.
Children are expected to wear the correct uniform colours and to look smart, comfortable and ready for the school day.
- Shoes should be plain black
- Hair should be kept neat and not dyed in unnatural colours
Main School Uniform (Required unless stated)
- Navy school jumper with school logo
- Grey trousers, pinafore dress or skirt
- White shirt
Optional items:
- School tie
- Blue blazer with school logo
Summer Uniform (Optional)
- Navy checked summer dress
- Plain white short-sleeved polo shirt
- Grey shorts
Nursery Uniform
- School jumper
- Navy or grey jogging bottoms
- White shirt or polo shirt
Jewellery
For health and safety reasons, jewellery should not be worn in school.
- If ears are pierced, plain stud earrings only may be worn
- Earrings, necklaces and rings are not permitted
Physical Education (PE) Clothing
- Plain black shorts or jogging bottoms
- Plain white T-shirt
- Plain black trainers
Children may wear their school jumper during PE lessons in cooler weather.
Swimming
- Swimming trunks or swimming costume
- Hat or band to tie long hair back
Purchasing School Uniform
School uniform items with the St Mary’s logo are available from Bailwood Fashions 246 Lewisham High Street, SE13 6JU.
Uniform can be purchased online via www.bailwood.co.uk, with delivery or click-and-collect options available.
All other standard uniform items (such as trousers, skirts, shirts and PE kit) can be purchased from any high street store or supermarket.
